A growing international company serving the telecommunication and internet markets seeks a talented RF Hardware Design Engineer for its Horsham, PA location.
Requires a B.S. and 2 years of electrical engineering experience, or an M.S. degree in EE.
Requires at least 1 year of experience developing and testing RF circuitry.
Requires at least 1 year of experience with RF simulation, schematic and layout tools.
Must have some prior experience/background in the telecommunications industry.
Should have experience designing and developing receivers, transmitters, and/or power amplifiers for applications.
Should have experience using the following tools: Keysight Genesys, Office, Agile, Oracle, Sharepoint, Easy EDA, Eagle etc.
The successful candidate will be responsible in the Access Technology Engineering organization within the Broadband Networks Segment. Responsibilities include end-to-end development of all Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) infrastructure products, including Optrical Headend, Optical Notes, RF active/passive, RF over glass (RFoG), Optical Network Units (ONU) and Multi Dwelling Units (MDU) products. He/she will be working on both 50 ohm and 75 ohm circuits in the range on 1 MHz to 1.5 GHz. He/she will generate schematics, Bills of Material, and Design Verification Test plans and results.
The salary range is $75,000.-$90,000. with a performance-based annual bonus targeted at 9%. Local candidates preferred but for non-local candidates a sign-on bonus may be possible in lieu of relocation. Candidates with stronger credentials may be considered for a similar position at one level higher with compensation commensurate with experience.
