An exciting and growing electronics manufacturer operating globally in the defense and aerospace markets seeks a talented Regional Sales Manager operating from it's office in Germany to be responsible for Sales in the Central European Region. Travel to 60% required.
Must have experience in business to business sales.
Requires 5-8 years experience selling to defense, space, wireless/telecom., and industrial markets.
Must reside in Germany and speak German and English fluently.
Needs a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Should have sales experience working with RF/microwave and or EMI products.
The selected candidate will have the ability to scout and capture new business, as well as improve/maintain account status for key accounts in Central Europe. He/she will manage representatives to meet sales goals and obtain required administrative information. He/she will be a detail oriented person with excellent followup skills to provide the necessary actions on open opportunities and issues. He/she will have the ability to develop strong working relationships with customers, partners, and Business Unit personnel to facilitate the capture of new business opportunities as well as provide the company with technology/product ttrends for innovation. He/she should have pre-existing relationships with defense prime contractors.
The company expects their Regional Sales Managers to be proficient at using their Customer Relations Management software system.
Salary levels are 85,000 euros-88,500 euros annually. Sales incentive plan to 25% of base.
