A medical center seeks a talented health Physicist to join at its Las Cruces, NM location.

Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent.

Must have at least 2 year of clinical experience.

Must have a Master's degree in Physics or a related field.

Should have IMRT experience with LDR/HDR experience preferred.

Should have familiarity with Tomotherapy 5.1, Mosaiq 2.64 R&V, Eclipse/Aria 15.6 R&V, Velocity 4.1, TrueBeam EDGE 2.7.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the Quality Control program in the Radiation Therapy Department, including calibration of all equipment, chart checks, radiation safety functions and maintaining all records related to such activities and assisting in the dosimetry in treatment planning.   He/she will be familiar with SRS planning and SRBT planning.   He/she will be familiar with HDR/Brachy and TOMO.   Familiarity with HyperArc, VariSource HDR and BrachyVision is desired.   Also familiarity with SunNuclear ArcCheck/SRS MapCheck devices, RadCalc, 2nd check, GE CT RT16, Lap Laser systems, and RIT TG142 QA software would be an asset.

Salary range is $150,000.-$200,000. plus a negotiable signing bonus and partial relocation.
