Regional Medical Center seeks a talented Medical Physicist to join at its Lewiston, ID location.

Must be Board Certified in medical physics by the American Board of Radiology.

Must have current BLS.

Must be willing to care for any age group.

Prior experience in radiation oncology preferred.

The successful candidate will perform duties pertaining to treatment machine calibration, dosimetry, treatment planning and monitoring of radiation received by employees. He/she will also have responsibilities in helping with simulation of patients and teaching therapists in areas of dosimetry, computer planning, and supervising the Medical Dosimetrist. The successful candidate will have a positive and professional attitude and be an exemplary team player.   The department incudes 1 FT dosimetrist, 3FT radiation therapists, 1 FT radiation oncologist and the on-site Physicist.   Equipment is 2 Electra Synergies using Mosaiq.   Planning is transitioning from Pinnacle to Monaco.   Procedures include 3D, IMRT, SBRT and VMAT.   The site does not do brachytheraphy.   Average patient load is expected to be circa 40 patients.

Salary range is $196,768.-$259,625. with a sign-on bonus of $10,000. plus partial relocation.
