A growing and respected international electronics firm engaged in the defense and aerospace markets seeks a talented Electronic Technician to join it's Marlborough, MA location.
Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent military experience.
Must have 5 -8 years experience tuning and debugging complex RF systems in a manufacturing environment.
Must have the ability to manually tune equipment across a wide FR bandwidth: a Super Tech.
Must have strong experience with Network Analyzer Testing, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.
Should have knowledge of Rhode & Schwarz, Agilent, and National Instruments equipment.
Should have experience in training and mentoring junior tech.s.
Should have broad component and assembly knowledge with semiconductors and PCB's.
Needs the ability to draft, edit, and review test procedures and to read schematics.
Requires the ability to configure complex test sets that may contain external components.
The successful candidate will test high reliability multi-circuit assemblies and sub-assemblies using electronic tests such as Flash, capacitance, insertion loss, auto. test, voltage drop, and mechanical/visual tests such as gauging and measuring to ensure parts meet tolerance levels and function according to specifications. He/she will be a resource assisting Operations, Quality, and Engineering in efforts to include, but not limited to, the prototyping and pre-production of assemblies to ensure units operate in accordance with specifications as mandated by customer as well as internal standards. He/she will identify opportunities for improvement and assist in root cause analysis of unit failures.
Salary range is $90,000.-$100,000. with a full relocation package for the successful candidate.
