An important Health Care System seeks a talented Burn ICU Manager for it's Houston, TX site.

Must have a Bachelors in Nursing plus a current State of TX license to practice.

Requires 3 or more years experience, preferably in burn management, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience or in a management role.

The selected candidate will join the Burn Team in providing the entire continuum of care, including critical care, acute inpatient care, burn reconstruction, scar management, and rehabilitation.   The Center where the Burn Team operates is a collaborative effort between the Health Care System and the UT Health Science Center.   He/she will care for every type of burn injury, inhalation injury, and certain skin disorders requiring complicated wound management.   He/she will be certified in Basic Life Support and another professional certification is desired.   The position consists of managing the daily operations of a patient care department, including forecasting and ensuring adequate staffing, planning for continuity of care, call planning, serving as charge nurse, and providing direct patient care as needed.   He/she will be expected to work on process improvement for desired client-centered outcomes.

Salary range is $97,000.-$145,000. with an incentive program and full relocation.
